The Hagans Investment Group, is a family owned business. Let me rephrase that, it's not family owned, it's family motivated. I started this business last year with the vision in mind to create generational wealth for my family. The best way I know how to do it is like most wealthy families ie. (Hilton, Trump, Rockefeller, Warren Buffet) is with investing.

Working with family can sometimes be challenging, so I decided to just take the range and go for it. We have the investment side of the business that does Day Trading, Commodities, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds and other investment strategies. Then we have Real Expectation, the real estate side of the business, venturing into everything from Commercial Acquisitions, Billboards, Storage Units, Developing, and more.

Since I am doing what I love, I never feel like I am working and learning new investment strategies is a passion. Our Vision

The Hagans Investment Group, LLC., dba Real Expectation first goal is rebuilding our community. We want to keep the value of homes up and provide a safe environment for the community as a whole. We are not focusing on the money from the investments as much as we are focusing on helping others and changing lives. When people live in a nice, clean, safe environment, they have a since of pride and begin to appreciate and take better care of their community. Let's get rid of the boarded up and vacant houses. We can't do it alone, so let's begin to rebuild our communities one house at a time.

Our second goal is to open Assisted Living Facilities. With all the baby boomers there just aren't enough quality homes to put them in. We want to provide a better quality of life for our seniors. Our seniors aren't treated with the respect that they deserve and their latter years should be lived victoriously. They should have above average living facilities, great meals, exercise facilities, gardens, fishing and whatever makes living those golden years, Golden. People, we have to do a better job at taking care of our seniors.

Take Action

Together we can make a difference. If you see an abandoned or boarded up house in your community call us and give us the address and we will strive to get that situation taking care of. If you see suspicious activity in your area, report it immediately to the local authorities. Last but not least, if you see a senior in need, please assist them. (It can be paying for some groceries, giving them a ride, or just sitting with them for awhile), we can all do our part and make a difference.

Bank of America Excellent Service

I have been banking with Bank of America since they wereNations Bank. I even had the privilege of working at their customer service center in downtown Norfolk, Virginia.

Make A Great Impression On The Customer

They had the best training ever MAGIC which is where my excellent customer service skills derived. I have been switching my accounts between Bank of America and Credit Unions for years seeing where I could get the best service and the lowest fees. The credit unions by far had the lowest fees, but where business accounts were concerned Bank of America wins every time.

I always had a personal account with Bank of Americabecause their atm deposit policies are unmatched. You can deposit cash and it post immediately up to 8pm and most checks are the same, but they don’t guarantee the checks, but I never had any problems.

Today, I opened another business account with Bank of America and it being a Saturday I knew it was going to be crowded, but I didn’t expect line out the door crowded. I almost turned around, but I had to open the business account so I could set up my online merchant account.

I tried to make the process easier by opening the account online, thinking I would just have to show up and show my paperwork and be in and out. Well once I saw the line out the door, I knew this wasn’t going to be and in and out transaction kind of day. I walked passed all the people in the line and walked to the service desk and explained that I wanted to open an account. Not only was the line out the door, but it was also standing room only in the waiting area.

The Assistant Manager David Krupansky, saw that I have been a loyal customer of Bank of America and that I made an attempt to make the visit more convenient for myself and he did everything in his power to make sure that happened.

The service was excellent; everyone was nice and greeted you with a smile even though you can tell their day was a bit hectic. The lines were moving fast, the personal bankers were getting their customers in and out and even though they were moving people along, you didn’t feel rushed.

My personal banker Paul was incredible, he had a great sense of humor and did everything in a spirit of excellent. You can tell the signs of a good leader by the team he/she leads and David’s leadership showed in the works of his team. That was the best experience I had at Bank of America. I always referred their service because of their excellent business products, but the customer service is what sold me today. It was a MAGIC experience.

Credit Repair

With so many people losing their jobs and homes, credit is a hot topic now. People want to know how to start over and rebuild & repair their credit. Good news is that it is never too late, but it is going to take some work and discipline.

Before you start trying to repair your credit, start a savings account. Have a savings account in case of emergencies, but also put 3-6 months of your living expenses in savings, so you can avoid some of these same pitfalls in the future. Once you have your living expenses saved, then you can work to rebuild & repair your credit and even start to do some investing.

To repair your credit you first need to know what needs repairing, so you will need to pull a credit report from the 3 major credit reporting agencies and you can do that for free at www.annualcreditreport.com. Once you pull your report, check for any inaccuracies. Check your name, your address, work history, credit profile, public records and inquiries to make sure everything on there is correct and belongs to you. Once you find that there are any incorrect entries that is when you will start to dispute those items. Use all your free resources and be discipline and your credit score will begin to improve.

What has worked well for me in the past to start to rebuild my credit was going to the bank, credit unions are better and opening a secure line of credit with $1000, if you only have $500 it will work too, but the more the better. After a few payments my credit score went up about 25-50 points. If you do that about 3 times with 3 different banks, after about 6 months they will give you unsecured lines of credit and start to increase your limits. Please pay them on time if not early, we don't want to start any new bad habits.

Wholesaling is the fastest and safest way to get started in real estate investing. You earn while you learn. Even though you don't need money or credit when doing wholesaling, you still need some marketing money. Marketing is the foundation in wholesaling. You find a motivated seller, put the house under contract and assign your contract to an end buyer. The system is great, but you will need to find people motivated enough to sell you their house at a discount.

"We Buy Houses" is one of the most popular slogans out there for wholesalers. You will see these "We Buy Houses" posted everywhere; they are on bandit signs, google search engines and business cards. Marketing is key in this business. Word of mouth is the best advertising, but you will have to tell everyone you know and keep your name out there to succeed in this business.

There are several people out there teaching on this subject and you can pick up some basic information from www.youtube.com. The gurus out there sell product information and hold webinars/seminars on the subject. Its best to join your local Real Estate Investment Club and you can find the nearest one to you at www.nationalreia.com. Your local REIA will have a lot of experts there and one of them may be a mentor or can point you in the right direction.
